I wanted to create a zine that was a pure visual expression of what these plushies mean to me. I hope you feel as much warmth, comfort, and nostalgia as I did when creating the code for these visuals.

A text based code that randomly generates onomatopoeia, adjectives, and objects that relate to plushies.
The text is translated into hiragana, katakana, and kanji and serves as a tribute to one of my favorite fonts - Jackey Font (じゃっきーふぉんと) a pixel style Japanese font created by Seto Nozomi (瀬戸のぞみ.)
//Plushy Memories
A grid based system using bitmap images of my plush backpacks from my childhood. Each grid pattern is generated randomly with blur filter applied when saving the image.
//PLUSH BRUSH 4.0
A digital paint brush affectionately named “plush brush,” that uses bitmap images of my entire plush collection (90 and counting.) This code is made into arrays according to the dominant color of the plush. User would press key to choose color:
key = 'w' >> White plushies
key = 'k' >> Black plushies
key = 'b' >> Blue plushies
key = 'g' >> Green plushies
key = 'r' >> Red plushies
key = 'y' >> Yellow plushies
key = 'o' >> Orange plushies

key = 'c' >> Coffee plushies
key = 'm' >> Multi plushies
